The Brief

The client is the foremost PRS developer and operator in the UK. They identified a need to appoint a property management professional to mobilise and lead the operational strategy across a number of their PRS developments that were due to come online during the next 5 year phase. The person would be ultimately responsible ongoing management of these developments and provide the best services to customers occupying them

Though we have worked with this client extensively across their construction, development and central operations departments, it was important to re-engage with a number of the senior executives and marketing team to understand their vision in terms of the live estates brand.

A leading London university with a particularly strong reputation in respect of their medical and dental research and schools, required a senior professional with a broad property and construction background to write and deliver the 10 year estates and capital projects strategy.

A world famous sports venue with a major capital investment and facilities expansion plan had struggled to recruit successfully for someone to direct the programme.

Our Process

Through five briefing meetings with our client and various stakeholders we grew to understand its culture and values – key in identifying the right individual. Mapping extended beyond CRE and onto consultancy and tangential areas.

We rigorously assessed and profiled candidates from as far as the US, EMEA and Continental Europe, including those who would have been overlooked had we taken a purely traditional approach.

The Results

We secured an ultra-high profile and talented candidate who had recently completed a high profile development and was open to the next big challenge. He has since restructured the team, and recruited a further project manager to join him.
