The Brief

One of the leading property consultancies in the UK decided to invest in their corporate real estate business and bolster the service offering to clients in London and nationally. The firm had previously been to market with another search firm for this requirement and was unsuccessful in identifying any suitable candidates.

Our Process

We worked closely with this firm and met with key stakeholders in London, Birmingham and Manchester to agree a job profile and understand the culture of the business, the current situation and the 5 year plan for the division. We identified clearly what success in this role would look like and how it would benefit the business.

The Results

Through an exhaustive search we identified two suitable candidates with a strong network of contacts and whose ethos best complemented the firm’s focus on delivering bespoke and creative solutions for clients. Both candidates were appointed by the business as Directors to co-lead the corporate real estate service line.

The Brief

This client was a global figure in the leisure and entertainment industry, with a prominent position in the UK, who required a project management director to lead theme park development. Through a recommendation they chose to partner with us, and together we identified and assessed some of their sector’s best performers for the role.

Recognising the highly specialist technical knowledge required for the role, we ran confidential adverts alongside our search approach. We talked to our global contacts who had expert insights into this niche field and went onto find suitable and relevant candidates for a shortlist that included candidates who were shaping the leisure development industry as far as America, the Middle East and Continental Europe.

The Results

Our chosen candidate took up the appointment immediately, ensuring the client’s succession planning programme remained on track whilst simultaneously enabling them to accelerate their expansion programme.

The Brief

A newly-established consultancy experiencing rapid growth urgently required a CEO to steer the different areas of the new business, determine strategic direction and provide inspirational leadership.

Our Process

After in-depth workshop style briefings with our client we undertook a detailed assessment of the existing management and executive teams.  We used our intelligence mapping tools to identify any missing or underdeveloped competencies and linking these to the key attributes required for a new candidate. We had thorough discussions with the existing leadership team to determine the right personality fit and then utilised our extensive contacts and knowledge of people in the market who showed true promise.

The Results

The candidate chosen was able to start at short notice which we knew would be such a relief to the client. After we conducted their thorough on boarding process, they helped the consultancy to assess their corporate structure and ran management development workshops for their senior team to make sure everyone was on track to continue growing aggressively and succeeding in a highly competitive sector.
